I decided to get both, the taste enhancing forks and the self-filling glass. So my sister-in-law is getting one foodie gift and one wine buff gift.

Strictly speaking I should check if both are super fair trade, carbon neutral, don't cause any harm to anorexic dolphins or syphilitic llamas and are so environmentally friendly that at least ten paradise groves are planted in the middle of some toxic wasteland for each one bought but I think I'll skip it this time.

I will also bring some artisan bread. Everything must be artisan, if it is not, it is not edible. Non-artisan stuff kills.

Ah good gift choices.  She'll like those I think.

Also mmm bread.  I love bread.  Especially when it's fresh out of the oven.

She's not gluten intolerant is she?  Gluten can be very bad for some people.

She will roll her eyes when she sees the gifts but that's what they are for and she is expecting smth like this. I always give her absurd/useless/OTT foodie/wine buff related gadgets, it has become a tradition. I am expecting something like partridges fed only organic acai berries until they hanged themselves on fat-free strips of bacon for dinner. Maybe we can use the forks right away too. )
She is not gluten intolerant.
I love bread too, including not-so-artisan one ).

I have to say that my brothers and I are not what most people would expect when it comes to food and she hasn't fully adjusted yet. We eat a lot. We are very tall, blessed with never putting on weight and not having any cholesterol, etc problems and we have super fast metabolism so we need a lot of food. A lot. People usually are in disbelief when they see our plates. And if all the brothers are getting together for dinner one would need a professional kitchen to cook it. Normal kitchens are not built for cooking ten buckets of food for dinner I think.

Ah I see.  You're all giants.  You need more calories then the average person to operate.

Yes that would take adjusting to.

I've an uncle who is a little over 6ft tall.  He is the tallest one in my father's family I think.
