Yesterday was "Elijah", which seemed quite important to the villagers. Today will be strict fast by monastic charter: bread, vegetables and fruit only.
It is 5 am, I am going for breakfast and then we are going to the far edge of the forest where we will be working today. The kids will bring us lunch from the village, which will be bread, vegetables and fruit only, no one will cook anything else today so I will keep the fast too ).

5am? Ha! My cat tries to wake me up about that time. He's no concept of I can't function before 9am.
