A minute later they got inside the cafe and sat at the table next to mine.

Yes, I have visited Bran castle, It is just a medieval castle which Vlad might have visited a couple of times I think, the rest is a modern legend for tourists. We have also seen the house Vlad was born in, it is in Sighisoara, Europe's last continuously inhabited medieval fortress.

I am just across the border from Romania, in Moldova now for a reforestation project but I am in Transylvania quite often this year. We visited the place for the first time last summer when we took a road trip through it and liked it very much. I bought a large piece of forest there. Their forests are Europe's last virgin forests but they are getting destroyed fast by logging (including illegal which is a big problem there), which is a shame but with Romania's terminally corrupt government it is really hard to do anything about it.

Transylvania is definitely worth a visit.

Now my iPhoto would not open and I will have to go through the library source master folders manually to find them, that probably might take a couple of days, I have a lot of photos there.
