Belarusian ice cream

Our neighbours' kids came over and brought us some ice cream. It is Belarusian.



It is good (but then to me almost anything edible is unless it is fancy stuff in nano-sized portions).

Belarus is definitely on my list of places to visit. Their President Alexander Lukashenko is probably the most successful post-Soviet dictator. As you may remember visiting Turkmenistan will have to wait for now so perhaps we can visit Belarus instead.

We do not have plans yet but it is not that far from Moldova where we are now so it should not be hard to arrange a quick trip. We just have to check visa requirements and flights and then set aside a couple of days. Would not be earlier than August though.

We do not have plans yet but yeah, we will probably start with Minsk. We need to see when we find the tie for this first, this summer is busy so we are likely to do it on impulse at very short notice.

Have you ever tried gelato? It's Italian ice cream like spumoni... it is delish!!

I wonder what flavors they have. 

It looks good.  Can't be any worse then the stuff they sell in Walmart that doesn't melt.  It's got some kind of chemical in it.  I'm not even sure it's real ice cream.

This one melts very well. I saw only two flavours so far, the natural one (cream / milk not even vanilla just pure ice cream) and chocolate. Both are quite good actually, even though I do not like sweet stuff normally. They do not seem to be fond of different unusual flavours here and prefer the classics ("Ice cream must taste like cream and milk!" they say here) but have them in different types (creamier, less creamy, this, that, etc).
