We are currently considering taking on another project in Moldova, which is not as clear cut as the ones we are already doing here. Optimistic thoughts and scenarios are fighting the pessimistic (realistic?) scenarios in my head. I think what is going on in my head now must be looking like this.



If we do take the project on we most probably are going to regret it. But then if we don't we will definitely regret it.

That one will have two parts to it: a reforestation project and a hydrological study.

Sounds like a good project.  We need more forests on the planet to make up for all the ones we cut down.  Not sure what hydrological studies is but I am assuming it has something to do with water.  We certainly need more clean drinking water too to make up for all the clean water we polluted.  

Anything to make this planet better and fix our stupidity is a good thing.

It sounds fascinating: but I assume the vagueness of the scope is the concern?

Yes, the vagueness of the scope and concerns about too much possible interference from the ministry. I will have us take it on if I can have the scope clearly defined and agreed to by everyone and also can ensure that we maintain the ownership of the project and are exempt from the local post-communist bureaucracy and everything that comes with it.

Unfortunately I have no idea what that gif was originally made for.
