People of Iasi

topumThe most interesting thing to me about any place that I visit is the people. Whenever I am trying to research a place I always want to see the recent pictures of the people in the streets first too.
I spent a couple of hours in Iasi in Romania so if you have always been interested what people in Iasi were like, you are in luck, here are a couple of photos for you.
There are a lot of kids there. These two are rocking the sunglasses like mum.
This one is carried by mum. I dig the flower girl's socks.
Older men will not be seen in public without their hats.
Just two girls. And a kid, I told you they were everywhere there.
And two guys. One all black (with a chain!) and one a derelict beauty apparently.
Another two girls. They are girlfriends.
Here, in case you did not believe me.
The guy who is smoking tried to chat up this girl on the next bench. She was smoking too but she wasn't interested.
Because she was trying to talk to this guy on the other side. But he wasn't into it. Life as usual.
These two have already chatted each other up. Now they are wheeling the two little ones around.
These two girls wanted this guy to answer some survey questions. He was willing to talk but not about the survey so they left.
People are relaxing.
Reading.
The priest is carrying the breads into the church.
It is this church just from the other side.
But this woman prayed at a different church that day.
It is the end of the working day, people are leaving their offices. We had an all black guy, here is an all white one. Everyone is hurrying to get somewhere.
The priests.
The nuns.
But the Gypsy boys are not in a hurry.
She is waiting for the tram alone.
It is getting late. The two guys on the right tried to chat up the two girls on the left. Unsuccessfully. Well at least they tried.
