I was told that the wooden synagogue in Piatra Neamt, Romania was the last wooden synagogue in Europe. I haven't checked yet. But I did take a photo of it, here it is:
Yes it is used. They have 8 Jews there I think and they have a service on Shabbat. Ideally they need at least 10 Jewish men but there are often visitors to take them to 10. They do let people in but it has to be arranged in advance. We got lucky, there was a group of visitors from Israel there when we came so we could join them and get inside.
