The wine is older than some of us

We had some great local house wine with our dinner tonight. Almost every family in the village makes their own we were told. For tomorrow our hosts wanted something different and brought a couple of bottles from their cellar. The wine is 23 years old (1993).

We got lucky and tasted the world's oldest drinkable champagne at Buyan Russian restaurant in Singapore once. That one as too old!

It was very good. Quite light actually. I should make a separate post on Moldovan wine, I think it is completely unknown to most people. I am not a wine buff though.
