On the road
Dec. 3rd, 2016 12:57 amEarly next week I am off to Brussels, Amsterdam and London and then I am coming back to close the first stage of the reforestation part of our project here.
I cannot believe that we have done all the work we have done when I look back at it. It feels awesome. I learned much less about forestry than I wanted, but someone had to do all the budgets, donor reports, ministry meetings, etc as well as all the firefighting (of which we had lot). And the rest of the time there wasn't much time for learning as I was one of the volunteers used for heavy and dirty labour (which I loved).
It has been a glorious summer (and autumn).
