I'd go further than saying that it is not funny and say that it is extremely triggering and offensive and a thousand newly born bunnies definitely died in agony somewhere because I posted this. But in my defence: it wasn't me who posted this, it was my privilege. I am so privileged that I never talk, whenever I open my mouth it is always my enormous privilege talking. I have been taken over by my privilege but the real oppressed me is still there deep inside struggling to get out and be heard.

Thank you for being understanding! I've been ultra sensitive lately and I hate politics right now.. I'm planning on learning a bunch before the next election though.. I really should've voted in the primaries.. I'm mad.. not that one more vote would've gotten Bernie in, but still. I'm so emotional because of my apt being basically robbed but that's over and done with now.. no excuse to bash around in your journal tho :l

It is OK, I am easy going about politics and I can get on with people with the views opposite from mine without descending into hysterics. I laugh at both extreme left and extreme right and do not get both of these camps. I would gladly follow people from both of these camps though because I am still interested in their views even though I do not support them. Good luck learning more about the US politics, it is certainly worth doing that before starting to talk politics. And feel free to come and bash around in my journal but do know that I will just laugh at you if you do ).

I would have voted democrat in all the US elections I can remember to date except the last one. In the last one I wouldn't have been able to vote at all unfortunately.

Yeah, I felt that way myself. I didn't really want Hillary, but I REALLY didn't want Trump.. once again, didn't matter :P But I can say I voted for Obama twice, and I voted against Bush in one election although I really didn't know much about the other guy.

I am 240 Shitlord, which means that I just have to shut up and pay for the pizza forever I guess.
And I also have beef with the Netherlands being in "top Europe" with us. They don't look privileged enough with 45K GDP per capita (UK is at 40K) when Norway is at 71K, Denmark is at 53K and Sweden is at 52K. They are also not northern enough for the cool rich club.

Yeah, this place is really small now I guess and it doesn't take much to be at the top but because it is so small the top is meaningless. Also, they rate you not only by the amount of comments but by the number of views too, there are entries with not more than 10 comments at the top very often. Being at the top here doesn't mean much and that's why I came here and not on Instagram or Facebook, this place is so small that it is free from all the people who just want to get popular (not that anything is wrong with it but it is impossible here, the place is too small) and all the commercial bloggers who want to advertise to you, etc.

No, my photography is not professional (I do not know anything about photography, I just point a and push that button) and I am not interested in promoting it. I am also not interested in ever becoming a photographer. I am not promoting anything and that's why I am on LJ and not on any of the big social networks instead. I like LJ because most people who are here are just interested in journaling and not promoting anything (because it doesn't make any sense to promote anything here, it is too small and you would be better off almost anywhere else).

Oh, I was completely mislead about you.. I thought you were all about photography. My phone is shitty or else I'd take more pictures. I definitely have been a very blunt journal writer, and I plan to be more detailed in daily life. Maybe that will bore people and interest some, but I need to expand my writing.. I want to be a writer, ultimately. And if I continue at this job, I would have the time to do it..

Mine includes a lot of pictures because I am very visual and because I hate writing (and am crap at it even in my native languages, let alone in English). We are all different here and everyone finds their readers. Good luck with your writing, I look forward to seeing more of it.

I don't know how it works but I suspect that the use of "privilege' like everything else gets abused sometimes. I am so privileged though (240 Shitlord) that my privilege has probably blinded me. I am thinking about starting a group to help people who are oppressed by their privilege find their true oppressed selfs.
