My first guess was that it was advertizing for energy drinks. There's one that's very popular here, judging from how many people walk around with their merchandize. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monster_Energy

I doubt it. I am told above that it is a line from some very popular vampire novel by Anne Rice and that these guys must just be fans of those novels (of which apparently there are many).
