That line though "drink from me and live forever" is a line from Anne Rice's vampire fictions. I think the movie interview with the vampire made the line sort of famous atleast amongst Anne's fans. It was also the tag line for the vampire Lestat musical (based on one of Anne's Vampire books), it was short lived on Broadway. Music by Bernie Taupin and Elton John. Critics didn't generally like it. I liked it, I thought it was brilliant. The music really captured the themes of the book I thought. But I digress.

I doubt it. I am told above that it is a line from some very popular vampire novel by Anne Rice and that these guys must just be fans of those novels (of which apparently there are many).
