I loved shopping in Istanbul. The variety of amazing stuff! And it feels very different to a Western shopping experience even when the same things are on sale.

Me too. it is getting more and more difficult to 'feel abroad' when shopping. It is becomes the same everywhere. You could be inside a mall in Singapore or in UK and hardly notice the difference these days. Even souvenirs for tourists are all made in China nowadays. Japan is still awesome in this respect.

I thought scrolling through many pictures might be boring so I choose one or two interesting ones to post at a time. I am new on LJ and am still figuring out how it works. Am already finding some strange journals in my friends feed and have no idea how they got there. Why do you find one photo posts strange?

OK, let me tell you my opinion.
1. You create too many posts/day. Basically you are hiding all my friends with them. Could you create less?
2. Instead organize similar pictures/stories in one post. On the top leave one pic, everything else hide under "cut", so they don't display in friend feed.
