Ha! I didn't notice the dudes sunglasses were not blue tinted like the woman's taking the self. Now that you mention it though he does sort of stand out for that subtle difference. I don't know though if I would notice such a small thing if I were there in that place at that moment. Probably wouldn't even notice all the blue wings and feathers. I get too distracted by everything when they're crowds.
It isn't really a point worth arguing. The picture that she took is a selfie. The one on her phone. But the picture you took is not a selfie. By definition a selfie is a picture you take of yourself. This is a picture of someone else. This is not a selfie. That is what is interesting about it. But whatever.
The world would be boring without arguing, haha (but somehow many people tend to see any sign of disagreement as something very negative these days so we don't get enough of it.) I know all this of course ). I do not say that this picture is a selfie, it is called "selfie". because what is happening in the picture is a selfie, and therefore I call them that way. Like my pictures called "wedding" are not actual weddings, they are pictures of someone getting married and that's why they are called this way. I am aware of the additional level of confusion added by the fact that "selfie" itself is a name of a picture already and using it as a name of a picture like I do gets confusing, but that's what I like about it ). And strictly logically you are right, yes, but I am not still calling them "selfies" not "other people taking selfies" which is way too long.
I was noting that you said they "are" selfies (in several places). Not that the works are "called" or "named" selfie.
My point was that to call them selfies sort of sells them short since more people take selfies than collect pictures of people taking selfies. Brevity is the soul of wit, but sometimes a misnomer gets lost in the crowd?
Something that is lost is interesting because it can be found ). I never meant that these are selfies, only what's in them (and that's why they are called this way) but yeah, it is confusing and that's what I like. I agree, there are fewer of these around than actual selfies, which I actually find less interesting than these. And I agree it is not important, I try to keep important stuff out of this journal ).

As I say not really that important.
