Most of relationship are initiated by women, and in most cases men don't realize it. All "serenades" follow the conductor's stick, which is normally in a girl's hand. Things that look like "storming the fortress" are initiated by a trumpet sound from the fortress itself. Funnily, machos are the easiest prey: a manipulative girl can easily convince a macho that he "rules": Batti, batti, o bel Masetto, la tua povera Zerlina. (Beat, beat, o sweet Masetto, your poor Zerlina...)
