I went to the restroom at a cafe in Benderi (a town in Transnistria), remembered badrobot68's last public post and took this photo with my phone. I hope that using my camera in public restrooms was not the new frontier which I now have crossed.

I feel putting a couple of foot-shapes on the floor would be more subtle. But maybe they have already tried subtle!

Oh subtlety is definitely not in vogue in Transnistria. We met with a bunch of locals guys for a beer and one of our volunteers was like this after it:

Is this a unisex restroom? If it is for males only, I wonder what the restroom for females is like? (That was not an implicit request you go find out, not that I thought you would.)

Also, this picture is interesting to me because for a moment, with my focus on the center figure, I couldn't tell they were not real women in the restroom. I noticed the other two figures being skewed
and recognized them as simply prints of photos.

No it's men's room. And oh I did find out about the ladies'. I just asked one of the women in our group. The ladies' has nothing of this sort, just clean walls.

Of course not. Some funny pictures (however bad taste or not actually funny) on toilet walls can never make me feel harassed, different opinions however distastefully expressed do not offend me, I do not get triggered, I do not get microaggressed, etc. I am thick-skinned ).

Why do they have pictures of women on the walls in the men's washroom?  They like pretending they have an audience while using the toilet?  Jeeze just adopt a few cats they love watching humans use the toilet or mine are just weird.

I think they use this as a more visual way of saying "It is not that big, come closer".

I don't find it emasculating ). Well, maybe the magnifying glass a bit ). I am pretty sure many SJWs could write books and show us all step-by-step how wall decals like these eventually can result in human race extension in agony of endless pain. But I am just simple guy, I laugh (or don't) and move on without thinking about it twice. Whenever I am after food for thought, toilet walls are not my first go to place usually, ha ha.

I don't think designers were involved. I think the owners had a couple of drinks and bought these wall decals on amazon thinking it would be fun.
