Moldovan weddings

Jewish and Italian at the same time? That's quite a challenging mix given how integral Catholicism seems to be to the traditional Italians.

I was a Jewish kid from my birth father but fostered by Italians. It's complicated I know.

It is ). I know that according to Orthodox Jews, Jewishness is passed on by the mother only, fathers kinda don't matter ). I have a friend whose dad is Jewish but his mum isn't and they do not consider him Jewish at the synagogue.

I'm not familiar with Moldovan weddings but I have been to a few Catholic weddings - They can be exhausting. 

Get lots of rest.

They are fun but exhausting here too. We spent two days at each. There is a lot happening, a lot of moving from house to house, you meet a lot of people, a lot of interaction, you sleep at the village where the wedding is happening too, don't even get me started on the amount of drinking and dancing and singing going on. My friends who we visited Moldova with for the first time last year came down too, so did one of my brothers. They left their kids at our village with a dangerously low adult/kids ratio while we went to the weddings and we found a complete mess when we came back. Some of the kids died their hair blue and convinced one of the local girls to do the same (we are a bad influence here), she had huge problems with her parents but is now a complete star and rebel at school, she basically owns the cool table at the canteen now ). They also almost ruined my laptop ).

Each wedding took 2 days?!  Wow Y'all really have long weddings.  Here I thought 1 hr for a wedding mass then 3 or 4 hrs for a reception and dance/party after was long.  You got us beat on length. 

Ha!  That's what happens when kids are left alone or left without ample supervision. Atleast her hair didn't go green on accident.  That can happen when going blue if you have too much gold in the hair.  It's actually easy to fix though with some red or a hair cut or lighten it to white but that can damage the hair.  Blue is "in" now so is purple hair..Actually any vibrant bright colour is.  They do this thing now where they can make the hair multi coloured using foils and different hair colours.  It's fun. 

Not cool about almost breaking your lap top though.

Oh I got a lot of photos and I gave them to the people who are in them but I do not post photos of the people I know in this public journal. Otherwise everyone would be afraid of me with my camera and I would have no friends left ). So I "hunt" on strangers only.
