When I went camping with my parents last summer, I couldn't swim in the lake bc of snapping turtles..

I read that in water they are not aggressive and avoid people and could only be dangerous on the ground.

Mom wants to take me camping again next summer for the whole summer. I might go swimming after all. :-)
