I think there is a difference but they are similar. Stroll means to walk at a leisurely pace and walk can be at any pace. But I am not a native speaker myself.

No, not that bad. They were not escorting him specifically, I just caught them that way. They were patrolling the street. Most streets in the Jewish quarter were patrolled like this. Very sad that this now became necessary.

Yes it is sad. We're on the brink of WW3 I think.  It may happen in the next 2yrs I figure if things keep escalating the way they are. 

People all over the world need to get down with the love and stop hating.

Oh no, he definitely wasn't smoking. He did not have anything in his hand, he just rubbed his nose.
