I love physical labor and I wish I had more time for it but I have to have a lot of meetings and write and review a lot of stuff, which I don't like. It is skinny dipping day tomorrow too.
We have deer and Heron here. I see the deer more then the heron though. Moose too actually. I've only seen a blue Heron once. I was a child playing down by the brook at my parents house. This big huge bird grey - ish blue comes flying out from the cat tails. Gave me a start at first as it flew right at me. It was pretty. Haven't seen one since.
You guys have a lot of beautiful forest there in Canada. Only Russia and Brazil have more than you do. Your forested area is the size of India. And it is teeming with life.
I don't see your PA or secretary at the desk - to complete the picture of paradise. (Or instead you'll have a mermaid?)
I would always prefer this style to a big city, but I can find job only in cities. Tried several times to live in a place like this (first in Russia, then in Costa Rica), and was completely happy, but then the whip of need forced me back to the big bad world...
I am lucky that I do not need to have a job anymore and I have the freedom to do what I want wherever I want. I know it is rare to have this freedom at my age and I treasure it.
Hello. Your posts and photos are interesting, so I've added you to my list. You seem to travel a lot. If you don't mind, may I ask what kind of work you do? Especially out there in the woods - I'm intrigued.

Didn't you say when you went to Moldova that there were almost no reasons to go to Moldova? And now you show us all these photos of how gorgeous it is! Looks like a fabulous place to spend the day.
Mind you, the lily pool is pretty too. Is that London? I am a country girl, all cities look alike to me :-D
It is not London, it is Singapore, I have been travelling between the two for years. There was that one year when I split my week between the two (so you just spend one night a week sleeping on the plane to London and come back to Singapore over the weekend).
I still think that for a tourist Moldova is not worth visiting. Now if you have something to do here, then you really can "get in" and it is awesome, we are having a great time here.
