Shooting the sacred monkeys

This monkey had such expressive eyes, it was freaky. And almost human body language. The people around this scene could not stop laughing because when this girl approached the monkey to take pictures the monkey almost did an eye roll and looked like "Seriously? Really? Sigh...you lot are just...you just depress me so much sometimes".



And this is a prepaid photo shoot. See that banana skin? The woman had to get a banana and use it to pay for the photo shoot in advance, it wasn't working otherwise.



She is paying for the postpaid photo shoot.



This monkey eventually got tired of this guy and pissed off. It jumped towards the guy and chased him away. He actually had to run away as fast as he could.



This guy got really tense when the monkey jumped on his shoulder. You can see it too, just look at his hands.



Can you find who in this photo caught me taking it and is looking right back at me?

Last photo and comment leads me to ask a question:
You love shooting strangers in-natural-action... when you are "caught," does anyone ever get angry at you? Fling Paparazzi insults at you?

Very very rarely. I shoot quite carefully. You also have to win the staredown, which happens when you are caught and I am good at that ). Makes me think about writing a post on how I shoot strangers in natural action up close without getting them angry and what to do if they do confront you. I have so many posts I want to write. Unfortunately I am a very bad writer and I also really don't like writing, I would do anything to avoid it.

Perhaps that why you have such a gift for capturing character on film. Though I'm probably not the only person curious about how you manage this, I respect that this is Your journal - and you will do as you please - and not do what doesn't please you. :-)

It's kind of cute. I do have to admit, though, that I am somewhat afraid of all monkeys/apes/gorillas/etc., weirdly.

I will someday. Writing is a torture for me even in my mother tongue and English is my third out of four I am fluent in, so it is even worse.
