Graffiti in Novi Sad, Serbia.

Serbian and Russian flags side by side, "Two nations one faith" on top. Both Serbia and Russia are Christian Orthodox. I always Google Translate graffiti when I travel. No trip feels complete without knowing what people write on walls and fences in places I visit.

"I also use Kabballah, numerology and the occult. Jung’s archetypes. Social engineering. It’s not the technology but the human factor that makes the difference.”

One of the most successful hackers of all time is not an IT guy, he is a Romanian cab driver. He hacked Clinton, Bush and Powell among others. We visited the famous Hackerville he operated from during our trip to Transylvania http://topum.livejournal.com/22997.html

Central Skopje is an unusual place. It looks like Vegas on steroids. The concentration of statues and lamp posts per square foot is insane. I guess only the mansions of Russian nouveaux riches could compete with central Skopje. Wherever you look there will be probably at least ten statues in your field of vision. There will often be more statues than people around you. Humans definitely are a minority in central Skopje. Most of the statues look old but they are only slightly over ten years old I think. I could not shake the feeling that I was inside The Venetian Casino in Macau. Skopje, we cannot see you behind the statues!

The city still has a couple of very nice old parts though. Skopje deserves a longer separate post.
