Thanks to randomdreams and their comment to this post http://topum.livejournal.com/7114.html I spent quite a bit of time reading on and youtubing starfish lifecycle and reproduction. I even had to shift one of the deadlines on my to do list to make room for it, it really could not wait. This stuff is fascinating. I will share only a couple of key takeaways from this adventure though:

1. I have never been happier not to be a starfish and not to love like one.

2. I am convinced that starfish porn is not going to take off anytime soon.
