Yes my work train goes into St Pancras, it's very tempting on a Monday morning to just bypass work just get on the Eurostar and not come back.

I can understand the temptation to hop on the train and go to Paris but not the part about not coming back. I would always choose London over Paris for living / long-term stay even though Paris is awesome and I like visiting the city a lot.

Ah but London is home so has committed the sins of having Work plus people I'm related to in it. :) I'm sure if I were to give in to my urge to flee to the continent I'd return to London.....eventually.

When I was a student in high school, our French class took a trip to France and visited this gorgeous museum. It was wasted on a 15 year old like me, who at the time, couldn't understand it's beauty. Ugh.

There are still herds of 15 year olds there every day on school trips and most of them look pretty bored unless there is a selfie opportunity in sight.

When I went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, I tend to copy the poses of statues. I'd so do that here too with my friends.
