This photo was taken in May 2016. Now Angela Merkel is the last woman standing. The Brexit surprise vote took out Cameron. Obama (and Democrats) was taken out by Trump. France's Hollande realised that he had no chance and took himself out without a fight. And Italy's Renzi fell victim of the referendum he called. Germany's Angela Merkel is the last one standing (and Austria voted against the trend too).

It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life

And I'm feeling...

How are you feeling, guys ) ?

I am ashamed to admit that I do not care much. And I do not think a lot will actually change tbh.

Hopeful? When Pandora's Box was opened and all the evils flew out, I understand that the thing left at the bottom of the box was hope. Seems somehow relevant...

They do all look boring. Can I hope that Trump will enliven things by wearing a golden suit and a huge hat, yet spend so much time ragetweeting that he won't actually cause too many problems?

I want to put a bowler hat on David Cameron in that photo.

I'm feeling... weird! I'm glad Renzi is out of the games. We didn't elect him and he wasn't the right fit! :D Also the referendum was wrong and shady... I talk as someone who has a degree in law and I am happy with the Italian constitution and I think touching it that way was WRONG!

All the things that were done around this referendum were shady and if the Yes were to win we were risking being troubles. We were risking to lose our democracy...

Concerned and curious. Something new is coming (curious), many unpleasant things come to mainstream (concerned), world react rather emotionally and childishly: no analysis that sounds convincing, no strategies for future (and this makes me both concerned and curious).

Politics is not one of my favorite subjects... I try and shy away from that.

Really? I find that we are so dramatic these days, the days that are more stable and safe than mankind has ever been and are overusing "fear" so much. I hope the times when it will be really justified won't come to teach us the meaning of the word. Hysterical screams of some million-a-year news anchors just fail to convince me that we are all doomed and I refuse to get in on the drama so far.

I'll have less fear when they put Trump and his Henchmen in Guantanamo.  Much much less.

I am very interested how it all will play out. I feel very strange about it, this is not what I would have voted for, yet I do not feel sorry about what is gone either (which I might have voted for at the time).
One thing I refuse to do is buy into the hysteria that misogynist transphobic racist holocaust is now inevitably upon us and I hope it will go away soon. That does mean that our famous million-a-year news anchors will have to start working harder than just monitoring a couple of twitter accounts to find who did cultural appropriation today or say "P-u-u-u-u-tin!" with rounded eyes.

I would not be ashamed of it actually.

One thing I enjoy about it is the hope of new faces. Unfortunately these faces seem to be uglier than previous ones but some change is refreshing and somehow I am not missing the old ones (even though I cannot be enthusiastic about the news ones at all).

I think it is natural for people to be afraid of change, particularly when it arrives fast and seems uncontrollable, or if they are in a group that feels particularly vulnerable. So I have a lot of sympathy for the people who are upset.

But I also think that usually the thing that people are scared of is usually not the thing that happens, even when the thing that happens is bad, it's unexpected!bad...

It will certainly be interesting to see what happens next.

Ha!  That might actually be interesting to have that toupee wearing orangutan after me directly.  Very.  But no he's very likely not after me.

He is evil however.  But then I think pretty much all politicians are evil.  Some are just better at hiding the pitch fork and horns is all.

I do too but I wish those people would recognise that the other side might have had reasons and must have felt scared and vulnerable too and not just voted out of pure malice and only deserves to be vilified with no limits.

I think it's often that way in politics... There are a few good men and women that gets up there without getting corrupted by the power... We just have to hope, for now!

I find it scary and concerning...it's as if our world is moving backwards and yet we also see so much (technological and scientific) progress at the same time. Sometimes I feel there's more openness and acceptance; other times, i can't believe the discrimination and hatred that I see. It's like I'm living in a parallel universe, and i'm doubting what i see to be real more and more, because at any turn of the corner, i feel like i'm going to be proven wrong in what i think i understand.
