Based on the wonderful images in the above links, it looks like the flag for the small "Bender/Tighina" area. If so, it would have a yellow lion in the bottom black part. Your 2 photos look like the flag on the car might have had a lion too (especially the bottom photo, the section of the flag right above the guy's glasses), but I can't tell for sure.
