It is pumpkin season in Moldova with "pumpkin fairs" everywhere.

It's pumpkin season here too. Everything is pumpkin..pumpkin latte pumpkin pie pumpkin flavored ice cream..October we carve pumpkins for Halloween.  Pumpkin season here goes until end of October here.  In the USA it goes to end of November I think.

That chap is clearly quite an artist in his field!

[identity profile] topum.livejournal.com 2016-09-16 03:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, he was very good at it.

That looks awesome, I love how the watermelon looks! People who do this always make it look so easy and it's SO NOT.

He also did it so fast and looked like he was carving butter.

I admire the talent to do this. I am not very good carving anything, much less pumpkins.

I am not much of a carver too.

This made me realize Ive never carved a pumpkin before!

[identity profile] topum.livejournal.com 2016-09-16 05:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Neither have I.

Does is frighten you? I mean, after getting your had shaved...

[identity profile] topum.livejournal.com 2016-09-16 06:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Ha ha, no, I am not a pumpkin head.

[identity profile] diejacobsleiter.livejournal.com 2016-09-16 06:10 pm (UTC)(link)
But I bet you instinctively touched your head when you saw this...

[identity profile] topum.livejournal.com 2016-09-16 06:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Not everything I touch is a pumpkin though ). I touch other things too (my head included) ). I touch my head a lot now I think, it just feels so weird.

Nerves of steel, then...

You regret the shaving? Feel uncomfortable?

No, not really. It feels comfortable actually. The hair will be back very soon, it grows like weeds.

[identity profile] diejacobsleiter.livejournal.com 2016-09-16 06:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Never experienced this... Anyways, grass after cutting grows faster and more massively. So it´s all for the best.

[identity profile] topum.livejournal.com 2016-09-16 07:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, as long as I don't grow grass on my head. That would piss me off.

[identity profile] diejacobsleiter.livejournal.com 2016-09-16 07:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I meant hair, grass was a metaphor. But true. Grass is not good for a head. (Unless you need an emblem of a "green" activity - reforesting, nature protection)

I know. I was joking of course. It would be fun though: have been planting a forest and ended up with grass on my head.

Quite logical. Start changing the world from yourself!
