Rocking the sarongs

I wore one too. You have to wear a sarong to get into the temple grounds.

I understand that one does not have much choice with cats. There are a lot of them here and they pretty much run the village too. I think they are good at that.

True.  Cats have this innate ability to command humans.

They also often boss the local dogs around here somehow.

My sister-in-law ' s cat bosses their dog around, the dog is a little Tibetan spaniel that has small dog agression.  Yet all that cat has to do is look at him and he cowers.

Here even when the dogs are much bigger than the cats and are not afraid of them, the cats often get what they want at the expense of the dogs in the end anyway.

Might be the sharp claws.  I mean those things can do serious damage.  Maybe the dogs just want to avoid getting ripped apart.

Also a cat scratch is toxic.  It can cause infection.  Cat scratch fever.

No, they just outsmart them (and steal their food). The only ones they don't seem to be able to outsmart are crows and magpies, those get their way with everyone, even the cats.

That was me. LJ logged me out.

Somehow I knew it was you.  LJ likes logging people out.

Ah so the cats out smart the dogs and take their food.

Crows and magpies are smart.  They have amazing memories too.
