Let's get muddy

On the shore of Romania's heliothermal and salty Bear Lake, which is unique in Europe (being both heliothermal and salty).

The water and the mud from this forest mountain lake apparently are known for their strong therapeutic qualities.

When I was taking this picture I remember thinking whether activists fighting to ban covering one's skin with black mud because of possible racist connotations could appear one day.

Ah nothing like rolling in the mud.

Mind you I don't think we have black mud here. We do have some red mud in Prince Edward Island though.

Why would activist have a problem with black mud?

It's mud.  Dirt.  Minerals and stuff.

Oh, I was just joking. I just read about some petition heaps of people signed to protest against the fictional death of a fictional character in some fiction TV show. The character was gay and people calculated the percentage of straights vs gays "killed off" this way and decided to fight against this injustice. The show creators had to apologise and promise not kill LGBT fictional characters in their fiction show anymore or smth.

Well there's fans and then there's fanatics. Sometimes even down right insane. I've heard of stories people stalking actors because they were "inlove" with the character they played on screen. Some people have a problem distinguishing reality from fantasy and respecting the fourth wall.
